Adding Document Links or Attachments

 

Relevant documents or other media can be linked to a Checklist in two ways:

 

Link Docs:

 

There is a Link Docs option in the Relevancy box available to Level 1 & 2 Users. This option allows links already included in the DOCS Module to be linked. See DOCS.

 

Upload Docs:

 

There is an Upload Docs option in the Relevancy box available to Level 1 & 2 Users. This option allows documents or other media to be uploaded into SCANNELL and associated with a particular Checklist.

 

1.  Select the link type: External link for an attachment/upload

2.  Give the link a name and description – these will be displayed in the checklist.

3.  Click Choose File and browse for the document/file you want to upload.

4.  Save.

 

To unlink a document/file click on Edit Docs, select the link you want to change and untick Active and Save. You can also change the Link Name & Description using this screen but you cannot change the attachment itself. If you chose the wrong attachment you need to inactivate the wrong one and create a new one.

 

The system does not currently support the Microsoft formats .docx, .xlsx or .pptx
