Before you can add Waste Types you need to create Categories for these. These could be broad categories such as hazardous or non-hazardous or more specific ones such as packaging, solvents, electrical waste, construction and demolition waste, food waste, medical waste, etc.
1. Click on Waste Type Categories under Data module menu.
2. Click on the New Waste Type Category link.
3. Type a Name, choose a Category Class (Landfill, Misc, Other, Packaging, Sludge) and enter any Additional Info.
4. Save.
