The Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) management methodology has been adopted by International Management Standards (such as ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 50001, ISO 22001, etc.) as a way for businesses to control and continuously improve processes and products. SCANNELL has been designed with the PDCA methodology in mind.

 

PLAN: Establish the objectives and processes necessary to deliver results in accordance with the expected output (the target or goals).

 

DO: Implement the plan and collect data for charting and analysis.

 

CHECK: Study the data from charting and analysis and compare against the expected results for deviation.

 

ACT: Determine the root causes of deviations and implement corrective actions. Review and adjust the Plan.
