Licence Management

 

Licences are created by Scannell Solutions Limited and can be imported by the System Administrator.

 

There are 2 parts to a licence:

 

1.  The number of users allowed per Module and Access Level

2.  The Access Rights within each Access Level

 

Only one licence (the last one added) will be active at any time.

 

Licences are tied to a particular IP address (i.e. server).

Any time a user is added or updated or logs in the licence is validated so that customers cannot exceed their allocations.

 

The licence contains an encryption signature which is checked to ensure the customer has not changed the licence data (which is stored in the database).
