You need to have the access right “DATA: Enter/Reconcile waste Consignments” in ADMIN in order to do this.

5.  Click on ‚ to display a list of waste types authorised for shipment & receipt by the Carrier & Consignee chosen. Highlight & click Add.

6.  Enter Quantity, then weight (in kg, pounds or tonnes), or if a convert to weight expression was set up for this waste, enter the number of units.

7.  Tick Shipping Completed only once you have entered all items. You can leave this un-ticked if you want to go back and add more items later.

8.  Ensure Active is ticked & Save.

Once the shipment is completed you can

      Reconcile

View the history of the shipment

      Reconciling Waste Shipments

The law places a duty of care on you for the waste you generate. This means that you must account for what happened to it to ensure it is recovered or disposed of safely and without harm to the environment (to the extent required by law).

The system allows you to “reconcile” what happened to your waste in two ways:

By recording the date it was received into an authorised Transfer Station (at which point the consignee takes responsibility for it)

By recording the disposal or recovery details.

It also allows you to link to supporting documentation.

To Add a New Shipment Record (receipt at a transfer station):

1.  Open up the Waste Shipment by clicking on its ID in the Waste Shipment view screen.

2.  Click on New Shipment Record.

3.  Select/Enter Document Type, Shipment No, Date Received into Transfer Station (using the calendar icon), Shipped Date, Quantity, Weight and any comments.

4.  Save.
