Data – My Workspace
If either Internal or External Limits have been set for
a particular parameter and a Reading is entered that is above the limit then an
alert message and email will be generated to the User who is responsible for the
Parameter.
Within SCANNELL these alerts are listed under the Data Entry
page of the DATA module.
Readings above Internal Limits will be
identified as Warnings, those above External Upper Limits as Non-Compliant.
1. Log onto SCANNELL using your User Name & Password.
2. Click on the DATA button at the top of the page.
3. Click on Data Entry or Monitoring Programme or Measurements.
4. Click on the Measurement ID against which you wish to enter a reading.

You will only be able to enter a Reading if you have been defined as a “User To Enter Readings” for that Parameter. |
5. Click View Readings.
6. Click on Reading ID.
7. Click Enter Value.
8. Enter the details of the Reading:
•Reading Date & Time – the date and time the reading was made (which
may be in the past)
•Value (Unit of Measure) – the reading itself and applicable Unit of
Measure indicated
•Comment – any appropriate text concerning the reading
9. Click the Save button.

You can change a Reading after it is saved, however you will be asked to comment on the reason for the change. |
