Risk Assessments

What is Risk Assessment?

A risk assessment identifies health & safety hazards or environmental aspects in order to:

Estimate & prioritise the degree of risk.

      Identify the controls required.

Why carry out a Risk Assessment?

Risk assessment is the foundation for environmental, health and safety management systems such as ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001. In certain jurisdictions it may also be a legal requirement in relation to health & safety. In any case it is prudent for an organisation to reduce the risk of any potential incidents in order to protect the business from interruption, fines or other costs and to promote a positive image of the business.

The RISK module provides an online standardised and streamlined Environmental &/or Health & Safety risk assessment and management process and integrates with other modules in the suite (LAW, DATA, INCIDENT) to provide a single source of knowledge & data.
